On the 29th of April, the Hamara Internet team headed over to Multan to conduct a workshop at the Bahauddin Zakariya University. There our team found women from all walks of lives, working to sustain their individuality whilst contributing postively to the collective society. Members of the audience shared accounts of how learning to be proactive about the virtual invasion of privacy, they learnt how to. Students also asked questions about specific forms of technology itself could be used to create protection on a collective level for women who are new to using the internet. We were joined by Rafia Saleem, an environmental activist who spoke about the challenges she herself faced when trying to create initiatives to help protect the environment.
